By February 4, 2013June 23rd, 2022No Comments

READY FOR WORK WEEK
Trafford College are giving their students the skills to be work ready with a range of master classes run by industry experts aimed at making students more aware of what employers look for in addition to qualifications.

‘Ready for Work Week’ takes place between 25 February and 1 March and welcomes both local and national organisations to work with students on a range of initiatives, including CV development, interview techniques, looking for that perfect job and getting relevant work experience.

Some of the organisations involved include Cancer Research UK, Morgan Hunt Recruitment, National Citizenship Service, Rockstar Youth Loans and local gurus such as social media experts Altrincham HQ and volunteering opportunities provider BlueSci.

Trafford College Principal, Sir Bill Moorcroft, commented: “Making sure our students have the right skills and experience to support their qualifications is a priority for us at Trafford College. By showcasing these skills and opportunities during ‘Ready for Work’ week, we can help to promote a wide range of opportunities, but also make sure our students meet the needs of employers.”
